The biggest tourist attractions in Barcelona are almost all to do with one man: Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí (1852-1926) was an architect known for his work in Catalan Modernism, which means about as much to you as it does to me. Think neo-Gothic Whoville with a nature theme. The three Gaudí sites we visited were Casa Batlló, Parc Güell, and the Sagrada Familia. I'll give them each a post of their own.
Parc Güell is a garden complex that was constructed between 1900 and 1914. Here are some photos:
