Thanksgiving, British-Style

Clearly I have some major catch-up to do. That's okay, it'll get done.
Where I left off: Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving was a spectacular affair. We really went all-out. Not a single stop was left un-blown.

Grocery stores visited to acquire needed supplies: 5
Time spent in dorm kitchen: 4 hours
People eating: 3
People cooking: 2
Dorm-mates scared and awed by the amount of cooking and people present: All of them.

Dinner Menu:

Green bean casserole (the kind with cream of mushroom and French onions. Mary Kate made her own French onions.)
Cranberry sauce (made from scratch by me. You wouldn't believe the trouble went to finding fresh cranberries.)
Cornish game hens with Mary Kate's home-made stuffing, complete with fresh herbs. (Turkeys were way too big and way too expensive. Cornish game hens, by the way, are delicious.)
Warm buttered biscuits
Roasted baby potatoes
Nice white wine
Apple pie (no pumpkin pie mix to be found anywhere. Still delectable)
